i made cover illustration for the 3w6 communitys entry in the systemmatters zine competition this year. We won the 2nd place, pretty cool. I think id like to do more cover-style work in the future. Oh and the theme was "verwandlung", lots of beetle/roach cameos
As the title says, i just got my confirmation mail for the Buchmesse/MCC!
So i'll be tabling there next year, quite exciting. This is my first actual con to sell at, hopefully the investement works out haha. I've been working on some products in the meantime, mostly prints and stickers but also an artbook and some other stuff, some of which i already put up on my kofi
Like last year, we displayed two of our game projects at the LNC for playtesting. I even made a QR feedback form this time so its all documented. It's cool seeing people enjoy the games in person altho it always makes me nervous watching them play lol. For next year, i want to make an even better booth as well as bring more stickers since they were all gone by the end of the day (and also remind myself to take better pictures...)
Appalachian Horror is a TTRPG zine i worked on as one of the artists, the cover for example is by me. It's been successfully funded on kickstarter! It was also featured at some local events and got updated with an english translation recently. You can view my illustration work on it here.
A game i've been working on as a concept artist and UI guy has been granted support by the Press Start: Games Founding Grant, which finances the company, Whispergrove Interactive, and enables us to attend workshops, coaching sessions and networking events over a period of 18 months.
The Games Founding Grant is organised by game – The German Games Industry Association in cooperation with the Foundation for Digital Games Culture. It is funded by the Federal Minister of State for Culture and the Media.
So, good news for me! Maybe you have seen me post some of the assets i made for it before, check them out here
